I think the People have been conned by our government and media for quite some time. Obama is just another in the long line of career politicians/con artists. The public is not getting the education or the daily information they need to make rational decisions. Instead, they receive an overdose of propaganda and fluff regarding the wholesale shift to the left and the politicians that are leading the movement. If it is then the will of the ignorant majority to vote those people into public office, then no, that is not republicanism at its finest. On a side note: The will of the majority certainly is democracy - but we live in a constitutional republic, where the rule of law, equal justice, and individual liberty is supreme. Who is Publius?
