Compact Fluorescent Lamps

There are some great uses for compact fluorescent lamps. If you can find some blubs that are not going to be a huge problem in the outdoors, you can use them on your outside porch. You may find that the smallest of lamps will give you a lot of light, but won’t be too much if you use the proper type of shade. You will have to have them plugged into the wall, of course, but that should not be a problem if you use them near your home.

You can see if you can find compact fluorescent blubs that are battery powered. These can be used wherever you have to light something. You are going to find that these can be handled in the dark, and use less wattage than traditional lamps or flashlights. They are good for checking up on the strange things you may hear at night, or for lighting the way when you are going camping and have to walk away from your campsite for any reasons. If you have a reason to light the outdoors, there is a arguement for getting some compact fluorescent lamps. I think they even make great gifts.
