NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. How to Enter the Contest:

a. The KBKS “Free Gas Friday” contest (“the Contest”) will begin on Friday June 27, 2008 at approximately 5:00 pm Pacific Time (“PT”) and end on Friday September 12, 2008 at approximately 7:00 pm PT (the “Contest Period”).

b. To participate in the contest, participants must listen to KBKS (“the Station”) every Friday at 4:50 pm PT during the Contest Period for the “Free Gas Friday” giveaway location to be announced. This will happen each Friday for the duration of the contest starting Friday June 27 (with the exception of Thursday July 3 as the designated day that week instead of a Friday) Friday July 11, 18 and 25 Friday August 1, 8, 15, 29 and September 5 and 12. During this time, a Station on-air personality will announce a predetermined SHELL Gas Station location (city/address) at which the gas will be distributed for that particular contest day. SHELL Gas Stations will distribute up to ten (10) gallons of regular unleaded gas to the first one hundred and six (106) contestants that arrive at the specified location and time. The gas will be pumped into one (1) vehicle only per person; gas will not be distributed into any gas cans or any other containers. The gas will be distributed beginning at 5:00 pm (10 minutes after location mention) and winners will be allowed to begin lining up at 4:50 pm. KBKS not responsible for broadcast interruptions, difficulty calling into the station, service outages or delays or other technical glitches. Furthermore, the Station is not responsible for traffic or other travel delays that prevent a person from arriving at the gas station on time.

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

a. The contest is open to all KBKS listeners who are residents of the greater Seattle metropolitan area and 18 years of age or older. Winners must show valid government issued photo identification. Employees of the Station, its licensee, CBS RADIO Inc., its parent corporation, CBS Corporation, subsidiaries and affiliates, their advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the greater Seattle metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.

b. Contestants are eligible to win the KBKS “Free Gas Friday” contest once per location (each Friday for twelve weeks). Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any contest.

3. Prizes:

a. Each Friday throughout the Contest Period, Shell Gas Stations will distribute up to ten (10) gallons of regular unleaded gas per vehicle to the first one hundred and six (106) contestants that arrive at the specified location when the location is announced on-air as described in 1b above, beginning at the designated line up start time. Each contestant will be given a number to hold their place in line. The number can only be used by that winner and may not be handed off to another vehicle. The gas will be pumped into one (1) vehicle only per winner and SHELL will not distribute gas into any gas cans, or any other containers. In the event that a winner’s vehicle reaches its maximum capacity before the ten (10) gallons of gas has been distributed, the winner will only receive the amount of gas that fits into the vehicle’s tank. The winner will not be reimbursed for the difference between the actual amount of gas received and the value of ten (10) gallons worth of gas and the gas station will not give the winner the remaining amount of gas. Winners may not split the gasoline between multiple vehicles. On each day the Contest is run, the gas will be distributed beginning at 5:00 pm and end when one hundred and six (106) cars have received their gasoline. A maximum of ten (10) gallons of gas will be distributed per automobile, per person. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) = $41.50, but may vary depending upon local gasoline prices on that day.

b. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash, expect that Sponsor may, solely at its discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuity or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

5. Selection of Winners:

a. Decisions of KBKS management with respect to the contest are final.

b. Each week during the Contest Period, one hundred and six (106) winners will be selected. The Station will distribute up to ten (10) gallons of regular unleaded gas to the first one hundred and six (106) contestants that arrive at the specified location when the location is announced on-air at the designated starting line up time, as described in 1b above. The gas will be distributed beginning at 5:00 pm and end when one hundred and six (106) cars have received their gasoline. After one hundred and six (106) vehicles have been given their prize, the contest will end for that particular day and no other gas will be distributed.

c. Contestants must be present to win. NO walk-ups, winner must show up in vehicle to be directed into the line. Once winner is handed a laminated card with their designated number and place in line, the vehicle MUST remain in line. If a vehicle is to pull out of the line at any time, the winner will forfeit their prize.

d. Odds of winning depend on the number of contestants that arrive at the specified location when the location is announced on-air, and in the order in which they arrive at the designated beginning of the line.

6. Conditions:

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Winner(s) may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling companion, if any) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

c. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of the Station.

e. Prior to awarding any prizes, the Station, solely at its discretion, may require contest winners to sign a liability release agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
f. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.

g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KBKS, 1000 Dexter Avenue North Ste 100, Seattle, WA 98109 or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to KISS 106.1.
