Go visit the Sassy Lawyer!

Out of the sixty five countries that I have worked in, the Philippines is near to the top of my list as the most enjoyable.

I try to keep up to date with the news from the Philippines, and all that is happening there. Although there have been a couple TV news programs relating to the country recently, blogs are the way to go for information on the locals.

I especially like the Sassy Lawyer, and coming with a humorous description of “does a title like that need a tag line”, it just has to be worth a visit!

Not from the Philippines I hear you say! Go on, have a look! They speak English there! And some of them speak even better English than you and me! They even have international call centers, so the chances are that you have spoken to a Filipino already!

Another blog to visit is http://www.pinoyblog.com/, which describes itself as “a portal aggregator for the Philippine Blogosphere”. Don’t you just love the Filipino taglines?

And when the economy gets better, why not plan a visit to the Philippines? Some places are not for the faint hearted, but there is something for all to do, including all you backpackers and international jetsetters!
