West Midland Bird Club is the place for bird watching fans and those who would like to become more involved. They have four active branches. In addition to the Solihull branch there are branches in Tamworth, Kidderminster and Stafford. All branches welcome new members and will offer advice as to kits and things such as which binoculars to buy. They have meetings, local field trips and a couple of coach trips to sites further afield every year
