Fun and Easy way to Make Money at Mylot.com

I have been writing on Mylot.com for a couple of days now. There is already money in my account there. The website is a community in which members start a discussion and other members make comments on the discussions. And you get paid!

There seem to be a lot of members and a lot of interesting conversations. And the best part is you get paid for how much you participate. I put up six discussion questions yesterday and today in my account there is already money in my account and I wasn't on the site for much more than a half-hour. And those cents added up a lot quicker than adsense earnings. Besides Mylot.com is fun. I'm going to keep adding a few discussions and leaving comments for other discussions each day.

Check it out here. If you like Xomba you'll like this site. Oh yeah, and it's very easy to sign up, just pick a name and a password and give an email address and you are ready to start writing and earning.

Mylot is not an alternative to Xomba--it is something you can do in addition to your blog at Xomba. Mylot is an entirely different type of site. You don't post blogs or articles--you write discussion questions, chat with people, and leave comments on other discussions. It is a way to make a little bit of money on the side. I go over to Mylot a few times a day between writing articles and doing my blogs or if I'm bored.

Hope to see you there.

* From reading some of the comments to this post, I see there are some questions and some confusion, so I am updating this post.

Mylot pays through paypal. When you reach $10.00 in your account, you get that money paid to your paypal account.

It seems that the way you get paid is as follows: you get one cent per comment you leave on a discussion. You get a couple of cents for each discussion that you start. You also get around 2 to 4 cents for each picture that you upload either with your comment, discussion, or just on the "photo" section of your mylot page.

In addition, you make more money for how popular your discussion is and the more comments you receive (and respond to). Basically, the idea is to keep a genuine discussion going, and putting a few cents in your pocket at the same time. It's a good site to surf over to in between doing other things and put up a few discussions and post a few comments each day.

It's simple: the more you participate on the site, the more you get paid. One other way to make money is through referrals to the site. Mylot will match you 25% of the earnings of each person you refer. That way money adds up in your account even when you are doing nothing. Make money while you are sleeping!

Good luck. Here's my referral link. Sign up, start writing, and you'll start earning. Have fun and see you there.

Maybe its just me, but I

Maybe its just me, but I thought the title "moderator" would imply the duty of the person would be to see to it that the exchange of information occurred in a smoothe and orderly manner. Not stop it entirely. But maybe its just me. Sorry I'm not here as much. Too many flies spoiling the picnic for me. I'll probably be back more after finals. "Thank you for driving carefully through the villiage." That's what the sign says.

Censor stuff

I think I remember the post Ken is talking about, and I think it *was* Celanith. It was removed for violating the rules against promoting something, or whatever. Maybe one of the newer moderators took it off, not censorship but a little overzealous interpretation of the rules. I was scratching my head at that post's removal, too; there seemed to be others that were similar that remained on Xomba.

To Censor or Not?

Ken, I'm not sure about the Celanith post. Maybe one of the moderator's took it down, but I have no idea what it was about. I'm not into censoring. What benefit does Xomba get by removing it? I think the comments on this Xombyte speak for themselves. Solid testimonials for Xomba.

Truly Hypocritical

Chris, What's truly hypocritical is that this post still exists while another similar post was taken down(by Celanith, I think, but don't hold me to that). I've been in correspondence for weeks with the Admin about it and all I've gotten is "looking into it" responses... "Thank you for driving carefully through the villiage." That's what the sign says.

weak

I checked it out and the conversations are ridiculously stupid! People start discussion boards with things like: How do you wake up in the morning?, Who is your favorite sports team? Have you had success with online dating? There's no real talented writing on this site, so who cares if you make two dollars a day, I'd rather read insightful articles not labeled Britney Spears' caught wearing panties or Paris Hilton Panty Snatcher... Oh wait, those are on Xomba I forgot! My point is you only make peanuts on internet writing for the most part except those lucky few!

Bloody Hypocrits!

That's one thing about you ChrisRick is that you state your loyalty to Xomba right up front!! No question about it at all!! So if I click on your link, you will get a referral credit for that, right? And of course, it goes without saying that you've linked your blogs there back to Xomba!! What a guy! We like you! ;) Thanks Dude!! Dragonfly Xomba Moderator

hypocritical

Isn't it? I mean in the same breath you state they are doing a good job here yet directly after that you promote another site. It's bloody hypocritical in my eyes. If I were admin I would throw you off the site. Luckily, I'm just a user, albeit one with morals. Sure I promote my other site, but it's not a direct competitor to this one, it's not even remotely close and I post game related articles here as well. Yours is not only a plug for a direct competitor but you are attempting to gain referrals at the same time (http://www.mylot.com/?ref=cNotable) as we can all see.

I think of it this way.

Unless there are cold hard facts in the posting about another website I do not even bother to check it out. Making 15 cents in a half hour is grand, but not if it's one half hour a month. Maybe I am just too lazy to go to other sites and do the same thing I do here. I am still adding up money in Adsense, albeit slowly. I did not expect to make enough to survive on even though the cost of living here is cheaper. I like the posts about the other sites because it shows that no particular site is better or worse truly, only different. Well ok maybe some are better or worse but honestly everything changes and websites come and go. I think I'll just stick around here and see what happens.
