I just finished reading all the winning entries. Excellent writing, all. :)

Two in a row! I must say that I am humbled yet again. There were many, many very good entries with a wide variety of styles. I don't see a Pat Riley in my future but it was nice to get two - Thanks to everyone who read and kept encouraging me to write more. And of course thanks to the judges - once again I did not envy your job!

Now you have to share your winnings with me and mythman for creative alternate endings. That's what made the story. Without us you would not have won.

Now we know who the real story tellers are. The ones who keep winning. Great stories all of them.

Xomba's contests inspire some great fiction! Congrats!
