Fay vs. The First Coast As many of you might be aware Xomba HQ is facing a tropical storm warning for the next 24 hours. Our Xomba special alert weather team is on the scene to bring you the most accurate accounts of every raindrop and leaf that touches the ground. Currently, Fay is south of Jacksonville with the 2pm EST National Hurricane Center update projecting it to stay south of Jacksonville. I've taken the liberty of placing the red dot to mark Jacksonville, Fl. All public schools and city offices (including my apartment complex) are closed today and tomorrow. So far we've experienced a little bit of rain and a little wind. We have an official Xomba weather instrument which should measure any and all rainfall through the course of the next day. I had to glue the frog's leg back together and the Gnome's fingers but it appears to be the most accurate measuring device one can purchase for $5. We'll be updating you through the rest of the night and hopefully bringing you pictures from Jacksonville beach a little later. Keep it classy, blogosphere.
