Xomba Special Weather Alert #5
Xomba Special Weather Alert #5
Welcome to Xomba's (non)Severe weather team's ongoing coverage of tropical storm(not quite a hurricane) Fay.
It is now 2:30pm est Thursday, wind has reached speeds of 30-40mph with a steady rain. We have a total rainfall of about 1 inch over the last 24 hours.
Bridges are closing down in the city along with most businesses. Although, we just went across the street to bring some pizza home. Restaurants never seem to close.
The National Weather service expects conditions to worsen till tomorrow morning.
South of us, Melbourne, Florida has received up to 30 inches of rain.
A picture of the city is below.

We've seen a few small trees down, but overall not a big deal.
Here's a picture of the skyline.
Hopefully, I'll have better pictures later on today.

Power has been on all day for us, but others are out.
We expect this to continue throughout the morning tomorrow.
I'll be back with a Xomba blog in the morning.
